The LED readout dims while on battery power to conserve energy and will illuminate once the backlight button is pressed. Gather temperature humidity and barometric readings - temperature and humidity memory. Calendar and alarm clock features are included as well. The base station can be paired with up to 3 remote sensors. Indoor Temp Range 32F/122F and 0C/50C and Outdoor Temp Range -4F/140F and -20C/60C alkaline batteries. -40F/140F and -40C/60C lithium batteries (not included).
